Middlesex Gases has become successful in laser gas applications due to our expertise and ability to provide the highest quality gases and mixes. Our blends are produced in our state of the art laboratories to meet the most stringent requirements of the industry.
We can supply up to 99.9995% purity for lasing and assist gases. We help ensure optimal laser performance and minimal maintenance costs. Modern lasers require laser gases of highest purity levels. Excessive impurities of moisture, particles and hydrocarbons will impact laser power & performance and the life of optical components.
Using industrial oxygen can produce variable cut quality. With a higher quality product, cutting speed can be increased by between 10 and 40% with a better finished cut quality.
We have products for CO2 lasers containing nitrogen, helium and carbon dioxide, as well as mixes for other laser types such as oxygen and excimer lasers.
Middlesex Gases can provide the high purity gas handling equipment including mixers and regulators. Our dedicated cylinders ensure there is no contamination in individual cylinders. We provide highest quality gases via our MicroBulk program as well.
We provide gases for specific manufacturers, including Mitsubishi, Fanuc and Panasonic as well as many others.
Warning: High concentration of impurities as Hydrocarbons, H2O (moisture) or Powders, can affect the laser with:
- Reduction of the output power level
- Laser beam instability
- Reduced lifetime of optics and electrodes with the high risk of damaging laser resonator.
